The Vintage Library collaboration with Humble Collective.
This week Anne and I have been arranging, rearranging, and generally obsessing over the layout of the store. Every night after we lock the doors we start moving furniture, unpacking boxes, and setting out goodies for customers to browse the next day. Among the more exciting developments since we opened last week (omg!) is the creation of the Vintage Library, a collaboration with local styling team Humble Collective. Owner Johnathan meticulously scouts vintage menswear, much of it in smaller, woman-friendly sizes, and then sources all of the perfect accessories to go with it. If you’ve always dreamed of having a pristine 197o’s Armani suit, or an Yves St. Laurent button down that doesn’t require a trip to Paris to procure, or even just a sterling silver razor from the 1960’s, the Vintage Library is your one-stop shop for amazing finds. Johnathan has found everything you’ll need to live the Mad Men lifestyle, from Homburg hats to patent-leather dress shoes to perfectly broken-in wool fisherman sweaters. Anne has already called dibs on half the pieces, and I’ve got my eye on a camel hair coat, so hurry in before all the best items are gone! With prices ranging from $25-$600 for clothing, and $20-$100 for accesories, this is a perfect place to find holiday gifts for the Don Draper (or Joan Holloway) in your life!
